Weinhof Winery is a small family-owned winery that specializes in the creation
of handcrafted batches of quality fruit wines and grape wines. Carrying on our
family tradition of artisan winemaking, we work hands-on throughout the process,
from picking the fruit to bottling the finished wine. Our visitors experience
a blend of old-world charm coupled with new-world Texas hospitality.
Weinhof grows grapes and fruits (pears, plums and persimmons) locally at our
vineyard/orchard in Prairie Point and at our
vineyard in Forestburg. Since demand
for our wines has grown tremendously, we also purchase from local growers to
ensure the best quality fruit for our wines. They love to grow the fruits, we
love to make the wines, so it makes for a perfect marriage.
At Weinhof, our Tasting Room provides a welcome and cheerful atmosphere that
entices folks to relax and stay a while. Visitors can enjoy tastings of
Weinhof Winery's sweet and dry fruit wines, as well as our dry red and white
grape wines. Hearty German laughter, joy in life and love of family and
community envelop Weinhof Winery and invite visitors to come enjoy the Gemütlichkeit!
